10 Months

Mr.Tobes turned 10 months last week. 10 months...that's double digits! When I look at him closely I think I can actually see him growing! It's sad. Way too sad.  Anyway, at 10 months Toby:

-Has 5 teeth and the cutest toothy smile around.
-Loves to wrestle his brother but doesn't love when his brother wrestles him.
-He's a good eater, loves bananas, yogurt, goldfish, and peanut butter.
-Weighs just over 20 lbs. At his 9 month check he was 95% on height and only 40% on weight.
-Eye color is yet to be determined. We have thought it was going to be blue for sometime now but it is changing ???maybe hazel or green. Who knows?

-Loves the water.

-Loves his Aunt Shell. Toby hasn't really hit a "stranger anxiety" stage yet and I am hoping he skips right over that like Tate did.

-Had a 2 week period of on and off cold/illness of some sort. Well, pretty much our whole family did.  Can you tell in the picture above he doesn't feel good?

-Has an extreme addiction to air vents and feels much better when they are all off.

Just love this little guy!

9 Months

He's another month older and another month wiser!  He just started crawling today!  I am excited for this new mover so he can finally get around. He has been getting a little frustrated lately because he wants to move.  The last couple weeks Toby has been a little fussier because he has been growing some teeth. At last, we have 2 new top teeth so he seems to be a little happier.

At nine months:

-He has the cutest smile ever.
-Survived a trip to Lagoon.
-Went on a few hikes.

-Boating for the 1st time. Can you see all those bugs!  That's Willard Bay for ya.
-Still loves to be near his brother.

-Is still a little mommy's boy.

-Eye color is still questionable. I still think they are going to be blue, but at times they have a hazel tint.

-Loves the water.

Looking forward to life with 2 kids on the move!

When One O'Clock Rolls Around...

Everyday around 1 o'clock we go upstairs to find Stink-a-wink (Tate's stinky blanket, yes he still has it, I won't get into that right now).  Toby thinks it is really funny to walk up the stairs, don't know why. So both the boys laugh as we go up the stairs to Tate's room. When we get there Tate always says, "Can Toby sleep with me?"  So I lay Toby in the bed and we all laugh. After they roll around for a few minutes and we talk about how "nice and comfy" Tate's bed is, Tate says good night to Toby. Tate takes his daily 2 hour nap, Toby takes his nap (in his own crib that is) and I have a little freedom.   This is by far my favorite moment every day. Not the napping part (though I have to admit I love that too!). I just love the giggling happiness that comes before the daily nap. I don't want to forget it, so finally I made myself document this moment.

8 Months

The Tobes is now 8 months old! He is still the most content little guy ever!
This month he:

-Is trying to get more mobile but hasn't quite figured it out yet.
-Is enjoying eating more foods, so far favorites are: pears, bananas, puffs, and carrots.

-Absolutely loves his dad and will stop anything to listen to his voice.

-Is definitely getting his own look - notice top picture Toby, bottom: Tate at around the same age.

-Still adores Tate even though he gets a little abused at times.
-Is getting attached to a soft blue and brown blanket at night (and his binkie).
-Loves to go on walks.
-Loves splashing in the bath.

-Seriously can't imagine life without him in our family!

7 Months

During all of the craziness lately this little man turned 7 months old! I must have blinked because he seems to have grown up so much!  He is still the loveliest baby around. So content. So happy.  So cute. So mine. I think he is going to be a mommy's boy and that is just fine with me!

He has 2 little teeth poking through this month and he finally started sitting up on his own. He is beginning to like eating solids a little more, especially pears. No signs of crawling yet thank goodness (Tate was crawling at 7 months!).

Proof that he does cry on occasion.

Toby fought back the other night by throwing up all over Tate. I laughed. Tate cried.

6 Months

This sweet boy is now 6 months old.  He is the most loveable, kissable, boy...just can't get enough.  At 6 months Toby:

-Finally rolls both ways.
-Is content and relaxed.

-Is taking a little while to get used to solids (without projectile vomiting 3 hrs later).

-No teeth yet! (Tate had teeth at 4 months).

-Enjoys "fake" coughing and loves when we cough.

-Loves his baths.

-Not only does he tolerate the abuse from Tate but he actually likes it. Go figure.

-Is growing too fast!

5 Months

Toby, Toby, Toby, please stop growing up so fast! He turned 5 months old last week and I seriously can't believe it!  He is the best little baby ever. He is so calm, content, and happy. I just love him to pieces.

At 5 months Toby:

-has learned he has a voice and likes to hear himself scream, right now, it's cute, ask me again in a few months.

-tolerates a lot of "cuddling" from Tate, and rarely cries when laid on, rolled on, grabbed etc.

-Started eating some oatmeal last week, he does really well. Sad to see him already eating "real" food.

-Still pretty bald, but I love kissing all that skin! (I'm sure I will get to kiss that bald head when he is older, he doesn't have much hope for a full head of hair as an adult).

-Couldn't you just eat him up?

Who's who??

I can't believe how much these two look alike. Can you tell which one is Tate and which is Toby?

The eye color is a definite give away. Toby is on top.  Pretty cute though!

In other news:

We have pretty much sold our house (we still need to close and all that jazz)!  A bit overwhelming and we aren't too sure yet where we will end up (somewhere in Davis county).
The day after we accepted the offer Tate dumped a bunch of water out of the bath tub....later while I was downstairs I started noticing water dripping from the ceiling. We about flipped!  Apparently water went down the air vent. So, Brett was fixing that up the rest of the stressful weekend!  Thankfully, everything turned out ok.

 Tate after the incident.

Can't get enough of this guy!
