Babies

 Casen (4 months), Toby (2.5 months), & Vincent (5 weeks)

I have been so excited to take pictures of these 3 babies together. It seriously doesn't get cuter than this!  It will be fun to see them grow up together.  

My parents were brave enough to have all the grandkids over for a sleepover this weekend (minus the little babies), it was heavenly to have a nice date night.  The next morning we had a brunch with delicious food.  I hope this is a new tradition because it was a lot of fun.

Holding on to Fall

I am not ready for winter. Not ready for dark, cold nights.  I love the fall!  We have been trying to enjoy the nice weather while it lasts (tomorrow it is supposed to snow!).

Brett made this scrumptious bruchetta for me while I was recovering.

Then he made this delicious cherry - berry streusel pie.  He doesn't like to admit that he has a secret love for cooking. I'm a lucky girl.

Baby Casen

My big teddy bear of a brother, finally had his 1st baby boy last Friday.  Casen Jeremiah Baker, 7 lbs 9 oz, with beautiful dark hair...just like my brother.  I love him already!  Strangest thing, he was born on August 12th, I am due on Oct. 12th, my sister is due on Nov. 12th ... a little eerie huh??

One big happy family!

Summer = Fun

Isn't summer soooo much better than winter??  I am loving this warm weather so we can actually get out and do some fun things!  Just this week we:

hiked up to
"the living room" to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. 

Tate absolutely loved it.

and

we went swimming.

and

we had a picnic and played at Liberty Park.

It was a great week!

The Celebration

Get ready for picture overload!! 

We had Tate's birthday party last Friday which turned out great. I decided I do not like entertaining all that much, I get too stressed and its a lot of work!  Thank goodness for family to help me out!

The decorations. That stupid banner took forever to make!! It turned out cute though.

Tate was a little upset throughout the party because all he really wanted to do was play with the rocks.

My mom insisted we have a 3 tier cake for him.

I was surprised that he didn't enjoy the cake more. He didn't like all the frosting stuck to his hands.

Brett and I wanted to do something fun for him on his birthday so we took him to the zoo (his 1st time).

Overall the weekend was great.  Brett was quite busy on saturday working on our new patio....more on that later!

On Friday the 13th...

This happened. 

Tate got sick for the 1st time in his life. We were hoping to make it past 1 yr without any illnesses but we didn't quite make it. He is miserable. Hopefully it will pass soon.


Other better news:

Last weekend Brett and I hiked to Maybird Lakes. I would recommend this hike.  Beautiful!

We also went up Millcreek Canyon to roast hot dogs for dinner. Tate loved it!
